As I sit here trying to write on my blog, I just don’t know where to start. Everything this Obama administration does to my way of thinkin’ is wrong! He was in favor of the Afghanistan war, however, he waffles on putting enough troops there to win. If we didn’t go into this fight with the intention of winning, why are we there? Where did we find this idiot? I sure wish he would do America a favor and resign! I am tired of his lying. I am tired of his spending. I am tired of him flying around on our dimes especially when he flaunts his rock star status when the rest of us are struggling just to keep food on the table or pay for the medical treatments or buy our medications. Then every time you turn on the TV – there he is bigger than life – him and his teleprompter. Thank goodness for the OFF button on the remote! If you have heard one of his speeches, you have probably heard them all. He says the same thing over and over and over. He’s like a broken record.
We have the Stimulus Package that hasn’t worked. We have the Omnibus Bill with over 8000 instances of Pork Barrel Spending in it – that hasn’t worked either. They are now talking about another Stimulus. Instead of doing something that will work, like lower taxes, so people have more money in their pockets so they can spend it or hire someone, they want to raise taxes – TAX AND SPEND – spending is out of control so they raise taxes to pay for it. DUMB DUMB DUMB. They have never heard of tightening the belt and stop the spending. They act like there is a money tree outside of the White House with a never ending supply of money on it – I hate to tell them, but the money tree has lost all of its dollars. STOP THE BLEEDING!
Next we have the healthcare debate. Instead of doing something sensible like deregulating insurance so it can be sold across state lines and let the capitalism do its job, they want to completely change the whole insurance structure so they can take it over and have a single payer plan and give the government control of our healthcare. Tort reform would help the doctors which would also lower doctor bills. Then it has been reported that there is 38% fraud in Medicare claims. Why not clean that up? They talk about putting it in the healthcare plan, but if they can do it in the healthcare reform plan, they should be able to do it without the plan. That would also save a lot of money, but that makes too much sense.
CAP AND TRADE - this is designed to make us all pay more in utility bills. They are trying to convince us that it is all because of pollution. The only pollution I am aware of is the BS coming out of that bunch of motor mouths in congress. If Obama is so concerned about the CO2 in the air, why doesn’t he park his plane, and quit polluting the air? That’s because he wants to tell us what to do, but he doesn’t want to do it himself. Well, I don’t buy the explanation from the Government – in fact I don’t trust anything the Government has to say at this point. This would be another big mistake – THE PEOPLE CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR HIGHER UTILITY BILLS. We have our own GOD-GIVEN natural resources, but our Government would rather buy our fuel from countries who do not like us instead of drilling in America! America we need to tell AL GORE to take a flying leap and take Obama with him.
Obama has hired all of these CZARS. They do not have to be confirmed by the Senate. They all have things in their pasts which should preclude them from serving with the White House. Is the Chicago Machine making the decisions on who Obama should hire? Probably! He likes to hire people who have tax problems, communists ties, and all sorts of other problems, but according to Obama, they are the only people who can do the job! Look at Tim Geithner – he had trouble figuring out how to use Turbo Tax so he didn’t pay his taxes, but he’s in charge of collecting the Income Taxes! That’s like putting a fox in the henhouse!
Corruption in the Congress – Most places of employment that I know of would place someone on administrative leave if they were charged with a crime such as the one Charles Rangel is charged with, and this JACKASS is in charge of writing the Income Tax Laws, but he can’t figure them out. That really makes a lot of sense. This has been going on for years, but the ethics committee is having a tough time completing their investigation. Do you suppose they are afraid that they will lose a Democratic vote if they find him guilty and boot him out of Congress? Pelosi said that she was going to drain the swamp of corruption, but she protects this moronic jackass. If Rangel were a Republican, he would have already been fed to the wolves, tried, convicted, and locked up in a Federal Prison. Chris Dodd should also be undergoing an investigation through the ethics committee due to his sweetheart deals from Countrywide Home Loans, but I’ll bet they have just skipped looking at him for any wrong doing. How about Barney Frank and his gay lover who was working at Fannie Mae, while Barney is sitting back telling George Bush – Oh, we don’t need to do anything about mortgage loans, everything is under control and then Wah Lah – the crisis in the mortgage loan sector collapsed. People were having their homes repossessed right and left because they bought homes that they could not afford, then the lenders lent them more money that the home was worth. Smart, huh? Is it just a coincidence that all of these morons are Democrats?

My friend, I would beg to disagree with you on one subject that is to say Obama and the rest of these Liberals are not dumb. Although I will agree with you that it is dumb to us the Conservative ones that know and understand that Freedom is the best and only way to go. Now back to the LIBS, They know what they are doing and they are doing it well. They desire Socialism for one reason. That is to have complete power over this Nation. In their deranged mind, they think they know everything and there fore need the power to lead us. As I see it, if we do not get off our blessed assurance! In addition, vote them out this 2010 election, WE ARE DOOMED. This is the reason they are tearing this Nation apart, Bankruptcy, depleting our children’s morals in school, in other words little by little taking our freedom. ReplyDeleteSenators are raiding money meant to pay for troops in Iraq and Afghanistan so they can fund pet projects in their home districts, taxpayer watchdog groups charged this week.
Data compiled by the organizations show that senators attached 778 earmarks worth nearly $2.7 billion to the 2010 defense appropriations bill.
They range from a $25 million earmark for a World War II museum in New Orleans to a $20 million earmark for an institute named after the late Sen. Edward Kennedy in Boston.
"The (Defense) Department cannot tolerate earmarking funds that are more urgently needed to support our troops in the field," four watchdog groups wrote Wednesday in a letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates, urging him to object to the congressional earmarks in the "strongest possible terms."
President Obama and Gates have tried to keep excess spending out of the $626 billion defense bill. But the bill passed by the Senate last week included several items the Pentagon did not request -- including $2.5 billion for 10 C-17 cargo planes and $512 million for nine more F-18 Navy fighters than requested.
The Center for Defense Information, National Taxpayers Union, Project on Government Oversight and Taxpayers for Common Sense expressed concerns about such spending -- but wrote that combined with the earmarks, the bill "will reduce already insufficient funds for troops in the field."
The groups are concerned the money is being drawn from the accounts for operations and maintenance, which provides funding for training, maintenance and equipment parts.
"It's outrageous," said Winslow Wheeler, a long-time Senate staff member who now works with the Center for Defense Information.
He claimed Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii, chairman of the Defense Subcommittee, teamed up with ranking Republican Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., and other lawmakers to cut more than $3 billion from the bill to make room for the earmarks.
"This is how they pay for the pork," he said. "I worked there for 30 years. I know how the operation's done."
But Inouye spokesman John Bray said the charge is false. He said the committee determined that the Pentagon's operations and maintenance request was "outdated," and that the panel provided funding "at an appropriate level that meets the critical needs of our men and women in uniform."
"The notion that the committee has somehow diverted funds needed for our troops in order to pay for 'pet projects' or other priorities is patently false. Anyone who suggests this clearly doesn't understand the appropriations process," he said in an e-mail to Foxnews.com.
A representative for Cochran could not be reached for comment.
Attempts by senators like John McCain, R-Ariz., and Tom Coburn, R-Okla., to strip out some of the money were unsuccessful.
"In a time of war it is unconscionable for members of Congress to divert funds from vital operations to less-than-vital parochial pork projects," Coburn said in a statement last week.
