As a patriotic American citizen, I must voice my concerns about the direction in which you, Barack Obama, are taking our country.

I have economic, legal, and moral concerns about your administration.

YOU CAN NOT SPEND YOUR WAY OUT OF A RECESSION, NOR CAN YOU BORROW YOUR WAY OUT OF DEBT!!!!!!!

IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT, NOT THE GOVERNMENT SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE!

I worked all of my adult life before retiring in 2005. During my employment years (which spanned more than 40 years and my husband spent 43 years at one job), we paid into Social Security and Medicare (FICA taxes) not by choice, but because it was required by the Federal Government and held out of our checks by our employers. Our employers also paid a portion of my Social Security and Medicare as part of the payroll taxes that they were required to pay. You may not know any of this as you would have to have been employed to understand how the system works, and you never did have that experience. The Social Security portion was to be used to supplement our retirement income and the Medicare portion was to pay for our insurance needs, however, anyone who turns 65 must apply for Medicare whether they paid into it or not - so my Medicare funds are going to assist people with their insurance needs at my expense and the expense of every other tax paying citizen who is not on PERA or never employed. We should also not be giving Social Security and Medicare to retirees who are illegally in this country. Again the Government has taken control of an entity which should not be controlled by the Government – that is why it is close to insolvency. Put Social Security and Medicare back in the private trust where it belongs, pay back what you owe it and leave it alone. Because of the inept handling of all of this, we recipients of Social Security will not receive a cost of living increase in 2010. How about the Government employees, will they receive their cost of living increases in 2010?

THE STIMULUS PLAN IS NOT WORKING. Talk about NO PORK in the bills – PORK is what the Stimulus plan turned out to be! You, Barack Obama, promised to go down every bill line by line and veto every item of PORK in the bill. HA HA HA. That is a laugh – you do not know what a veto is and have not used it since becoming President. You have broken your promise to have the bills posted online so that the people of the United States could see where their money is going – that didn’t happen either. You rush everything through in order to keep the American public in the dark – you do not want us to know what you are doing behind our backs. Your promises have been empty and the people are suffering because of it. We are like a bunch of mushrooms – you feed us manure and keep us in the dark!

I also want to address all of these CZARS that you have hired. This is totally against what our founding fathers had in mind for our Nation. You are using them to circumvent the authority of the Congress and the oversight to the American people. Congress is supposed to have the responsibility of oversight of these programs. You are violating the Constitution of the United States at every turn. CZARS come from a dictatorial type of Government and I truly resent being dictated to by my government, and that is exactly how I feel right now – dictated to!

NO COMPANY IS TOO BIG TO FAIL, and we should not be bailing anyone out. That is not the responsibility of the Government of the United States. You did not want GM and Chrysler to fail because of your lowlife friends in the Unions. You fire the CEO of GM, but you protect the union constituency. How noble of you! NOT! You have a lot of lowlife friends! You even have some of them in the Cabinet and as your advisors. And we can’t forget about your association with ACORN or the Chicago Machine. You did not want the financial institutions to fail either and yet they caused their own problems along with the help of some of the Democrats in Congress such as Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, etc. So you bailed them out, so they can keep up with the same unethical business as usual – you just fed into their bad behavior! It should be survival of the fittest. Now you want to dictate what they do also. I get the distinct impression that you want to be Lord and Master of everyone and everything in America. Just so you will know – I have no intentions of ever buying a GM or a Chrysler vehicle. I have already given them plenty through the bailout. Life in a capitalist society means SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST not come and bail me out because I’m too big to fail.

I AM REAL TIRED OF YOUR ATTITUDE OF DO AS I SAY, DON’T DO AS I DO!

The rest of America must tighten their belts in order to pay their bills, clothe themselves, and keep food on the table, but you flaunt hopping on an airplane (whether it be Airforce One or another plane or helicopter) to be a global traveler at the expense of the American people, and then to the embarrassment of the American people, you start apologizing for America. We have nothing for which to apologize. If you believe America needs to apologize to the rest of the world, maybe you should not be the President and then you could take your community organizing skills to the underprivileged in those countries you think we need to apologize to, but then you could not live like a rock star, could you? To tell you the truth, I am not impressed with your “Rock Star” status. I do not believe that you are the one calling the shots as the President – I believe you have someone who was making sure that you got the shot at being President and they are sitting behind you telling you what to say, who to hire and what agenda to follow. I think you are somebody’s shill! I am not even sure you won legitimately – I think the ballot boxes might have been stuffed.

I AM ALSO TIRED OF YOU BLAMING BUSH FOR ALL OF THE PROBLEMS IN YOUR ADMINISTRATION. You were a member of the Senate and had the obligation and the ability to vote to change things, but instead you either voted present or for the things that have caused the problems. You always voted along Democratic party lines and the Democrats were in control of the Congress so you are as much to blame as anyone.

I DO NOT (I REPEAT) I DO NOT WANT THE GOVERNMENT INVOLVED IN MY HEALTHCARE! My team of doctors has vowed to resign from practicing medicine if your healthcare plan is passed. The care we will receive will be much diminished under a Government plan. You will cut the amount you pay the doctors and hospitals to the point that they can not employee good dedicated employees, and the good employees and doctors will not work under those circumstances so they will quit. Healthcare will be either on a par with Canada or even worse. Quit paying for the healthcare of illegals, get people off of welfare and quit paying for every teenage girl in America to have a baby, and you would notice that the illegals would leave and go back to their country of origin (they are only here because we take care of them), and the young girls will quit having babies because their parents will keep a closer eye on them. The parents will not want to pay the cost of these illegitimate babies from birth to adulthood. The Welfare system as it stands encourages immoral behavior, and does not encourage responsibility of the teenagers having these babies or the parents of these teenagers.

I want illegal immigrants out of our country. If they want to live in America, they should try to come here legally, have a sponsor, a job, and learn to speak English. I am tired of being asked if I am Hispanic or Black. I am an American – the same as everyone born in America. I do not want to push one for English, and I am tired of you being touted as the first African-American President. You are an American President! I do not believe in Affirmative Action – and if it weren’t for affirmative action, your Sonia Sotomayor would not have made it to Princeton – she couldn’t pass the entrance exam! I don’t believe she is such “a wise Latina woman.” If she studied the same books, then she would have had the same opportunities as a white student. Books do not give an advantage to a certain ethnic group. I am unhappy with her bias and I do not want to see a repeat of her bias in the Supreme Court. You are manipulating the Judicial system and it is not good for our Nation.

To sum this up, I am not happy with your performance or your policies as the President of the United States. I see that your numbers in the polls are starting to reflect the same concerns that I am voicing in this letter. America is waking up and they will be marching up to White House to let you know about it. They tried to get your attention through the Tea Parties, but you chose not to acknowledge the unhappiness of Americans with your performance and policies. I know that you are trying to rush through your agenda by 2010 because with the elections at that time, I am sure you will see a change in the balance of power.
