THE LAND OF FRUITS AND NUTS

I have come to the conclusion that California has a trifecta of squirrelly people in the Congress – Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and Diane Watson, but then I guess it is understandable considering that I heard someone say the other day that they came from “the land of the fruits and nuts”.
Pelosi plays the blame game – blaming everyone on the opposing side for everything under the sun, but she never accepts responsibility for any of her nutty conclusions.
Barbara Boxer thinks that she deserves special consideration since a bunch of goofy people voted her into a position in which she believes places her above the rest of us.
Diane Watson thinks that Castro is the perfect leader. Personally, I think she should move to Cuba and live under Castro’s rule and accept the healthcare system in Cuba as her own before she tries to strap the rest of us with it. It would not hurt my feelings any to see them all pack up and go live with Castro.
They could always invite Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Charles Rangel, and the rest of the liberal left-wing nuts to join them. Maybe then we could get America back on the path that the Constitution was written to protect. Of course, I think the next election in 2010 is going to be very interesting and I hope it goes to show all of the people from the land of fruits and nuts plus all of their friends that they are our employees. They seem to forget that they work for us, the American people – not the other way around. That would be cause for America’s largest and greatest celebration. I might even drive to Miami to watch them board the ship that would be taking them away from America. Then we could take in the welcome mat so they wouldn’t be able to come back.
